My sister bought me this book for Christmas, and it is very special. It is essays and pictures of various old dogs, and it is so sweet. So many of the stories brought tears to my eyes, remembering my old coonhound Buddy, who dies last summer.

Aww. Sounds tearful, Thea. I'm still trying to steel myself to read "Where the Blind Horse Sings", which Terrie sent to me ages ago.

Actually it's not. it's more of a celebration of the quirky personalities old dogs develop over the years. Very sweet.
