I give this book big thumbs up! While he wasn't an ex-racer, he was a TB with a story any one of the track might have.
Standing only 15.2, he cleared 6'10" at a show in the late 40s in Hagerstown, Maryland (just down the road from where I live), and he did it when he was 16 years old!
His story along with Jane Pohl, his talented and caring rider, is very much worth discovering. Her son has done her proud in this book about his mother and her horse.
