Parker.
Came off the track back in March, from Del. Park. We ended up with him because the "owner" for whatever reason was going to have a few horses Euth. if they weren't removed by Monday. Anyway, he is apparently well bred, although she wouldnt release his papers to us. She said because she was "giving" him away she didnt want anyone to be tempted to retrain him for the track since he was so well bred. We havent tried real hard to figure out who he "really" is- tattoo is not the best quality.
Anyway, He is completey UTD on shots and Coggins. Was wearing just front shoes this summer, but now is barefoot all around. It doesnt seem to bother him. He is still very green to aids, but has a great mind. We've popped him over some cross rails and he doesnt seem to mind. He can just "hang out" for weeks, then you can just saddle up and ride w/ out lungeing or anything. He's not spooky (actually I've never seen him spook while being ridden) He hasnt been ridden alot, mostly because we have alot of young horses at the barn and secondly because he just wont be fancy enough for the "A" hunter circuit (which is what my BO rides)
He's atleast 16 hands and nicely muscled and "Beefy" . He would love to get a new home were he can be put into work. He loves to be groomed- unlike alot of TBs- he actually leans into the brushes.
If anybody is interested just PM me and I will get you some more info.

Thanks for anybody who looked at this boy and considered buying him. And Im sorry I didnt post about it on here sooner. I kinda forgot I had him posted.
But in January he was out in the pasture with his buddies and got kicked. He broke his hind splint bone and 3/4 of the other bone. Due to the type of break and cost of repairing. Between the vet and my BO they decided the best option for Parker would be euthanasia.

kaidensmom: Any stories or experience with a horse with strangles that is SOB? Gelding is currently hospitalized. On Penicillin and wasn't getting better so the vet just started horse on IV doses of DMSO. The abcesses are pharyngeal.
