LOL! My sister sent me the CD for Xmas a few years ago...some really good songs on there! But I never saw the show. For some reawson the YouTube links you posted show up blank...what gives?

Isn't he stunning? We love Bruno. I have a funny feeling though that if we met him in real life, we'd find him a smidgeon arrogant.

It just takes a looong time to load, but it's there. I know the other singers (Garou who plays Quasimodo, Helene segara who plays Esmeralda, Daniel Lavoie - the priest...) but I didn't know Bruno. I think you're right. A bit arrogant...I actually like Garou better (once you take off all the show make up etc. he's actually quite cute, and he's from Québec  Les Portes is a good song! Are you talking to yourself Bara?!  Yup Garou is one of the few singers I'd actually like to meet, lol! Did you know Daniel Lavoie is also from Québec...I love Québec! Too bad it's so COLD there...! I don't like helene Segara...I just like the song! On the CD I have, it's actually sung by a girl named Noa, who has a better voice, I think. Look her up on YouTube! As for Paris...*sigh* Chloé already said she won't go this year, period. And with the prices of tickets...I don't know....but I'll try, I want to see my parents, they're getting old, you know? So I'll keep you posted. Oli probably won't go either...not because we don't want to leave our 16 yo daughter by herself for a few weeks, no, really that's not it at all...  So maybe just me and Morgane, for a couple weeks? We'll see. |

Normally, one or other continent is tucked up in bed, so I do have these 'delayed' conversations! ;D Well, if you are in Paris, let me know - is the show still running? Would loff to meet up with you and Morgane. Maybe Shannon would join us. Ha, ha! Oli is worried about the sort of boy HE used to be, with You! Fathers and daughters, huh? Yes, I guess I'd better go for Daniel and leave Garou to you... Daniel is more my age. However, I believe there's a MrsDaniel, so certainly wouldn't even attempt it! (MUCH chance!) I'll look up the other lady - I agree (if it's the brunette) that she's a bit boring. But I liked the blonde girl I can send you the book, if you like? Terrie has one copy in the post. Up to you. Thanks for posting that! I was wondering if they actually made an english language show, and I guess this was the London cast, with Blasamo as Phoebus instead of Patrick Fiori, who apparently doesn't speak english. I actually like Balsamo's voice better. It's less shrill as Patrick's.
As for the translation...it will never be as good as the original (how do you translate poetry, anyway!), but considering, not a bad one, either.
I still love Garou. He looks like he's having so much fun, and he keeps looking at the other 2 singers. He just seems like a nice, friendly, "normal" guy!
