In my dreams springs coming. It's snowing like crazy out there. Can't believe how many other goofy people were on the roads tonight. Had to go to my saddle club meeting tonight, we were having our vote for officers of the club and, well some years that's no big deal, but this year we need change. Now I understand people being out, going to or from work, having obligations that won't wait for snow. But I couldn't believe how many were at the Walmart I passed. Are those people nuts?

Ack! This will teach me to brag about spring in early March! At 2 p.m. today, it was warm, 51 degrees, and I swear I heard the spring peepers. By 6 p.m. it was 21 degrees and freezing rain was coating everything. Now it's snowing and blowing. It's hideous out there! chris

I heard that parts west of us were having a storm...we are still in the balmy 40s but it's supposed to plunge and give us either MUCHO rain or a couple inches of snow.... The snow on the ground has started to melt and we have big snow lakes everywhere....I can't imagine rain on top of that slosh! We still have 3-foot snow banks on the edges of the driveway and around the garage and stuff... When will this MELT? ? WAHHHH This is why I am currently jealous of CC and her nice indoor arena. Can you IMAGINE having one? I'd be soooooo happy! COME ON LOTTO!

Well, I've decided that since we currently are not in a position to build a house AND a barn, we will build a barn (with indoor arena - goes without saying) and LIVE in the barn. With a wash rack and porta potty, what more do we need?? ;D Boy, I don't envy your part of the country when the snow does melt. No doubt, you'll have record flooding! We're still in drought mode here. Sheesh, which is worse?!

You guy make me feel like such a wimp!!!! Everyone thinks I'm so brave to be out riding at night in the firgid 25 and 30 degree weather. Where in the north pole do you live? So, I should be glad that when I made the great migration out of Southern Ca that I stopped when I got to Utah? I fell in love with WI when I was there for the summer. Hmmmm. Summer is the key word. So I feel guilty for being happy for the snow. It's finally snowing some more here and I'm jumping up and down. Snow means nice skiing and when there is snow on the ground that means I don't have to tromp through the mud. Plus, we're in a drought and I like to give my horsey baths! Sending warm Utah thoughts your way.

Yeah, we were in a drought, but now we have 6 more inches of snow on the ground (was sooo much fun to drive in last night), after getting two the other day. AND we might get more Monday and or Tuesday next week. Of course, that could change tomorrow. Long term forcasts don't mean much around here.
