There have been a few posts about putting weight on. McCauley's Omega Bran was recommended to me by my feed store, and within a month, Saint packed on the pounds.

He was getting 1lb in addition to his 3 lbs of pellets, corn oil, beet pulp, hay, etc. I never replaced his regular feed with this, as I have to pay for this myself. But, he is now down to 1/2 lb each feeding and has been holding steady ever since. Definitely worth the money to me and I highly recommend it.

kaidensmom: Any stories or experience with a horse with strangles that is SOB? Gelding is currently hospitalized. On Penicillin and wasn't getting better so the vet just started horse on IV doses of DMSO. The abcesses are pharyngeal. Mar 13, 2017 22:41:03 GMT -5
