Soigne is a lovely 5 yo bay mare, approx 15.3 who has just come off a lease with us and is now back with her original owner. He has asked us to help him sell her by putting the word out about her online.

Soigne is very athletic, nicely built, and sensible to work around. Not fast enough to stay at the track. Soigne did not race until age 5; she has had only 5 lifetime starts. She is a cribber when stabled at the track, and is therefore priced accordingly. Coggins current thru 12-21-08 (Yes, people do ask this...). Sporthorse or race broodmare prospect - Seattle Slew on top, Roberto on bottom. Damsire Al Mufti is a half-brother to Wolfhound, Deerhound, Foxhound, and Weekend Surprise (dam of A.P. Indy and Summer Squall).

If my daughter had not just gotten a retired racehorse of her own we would have bought Soigne for her. BUT... she is one lucky duck to now have a beautiful gray gelding, bred by Michael Matz, as her new horse. It's quite a difference for her to go from 12.2 swaybacked Nappy to a 16.1+ retired racehorse, but they are doing fabulous together (knock knock).
