I bought this at Tractor Supply today. I went looking for regular poultice clay, but their selection was non-existent, and bought this stuff instead. It says it can be used as a poultice, liniment, or for small cuts and abrasions. I'm hoping I made a good purchase decision.

I've used that stuff before! It comes in a jar (about the same size jar as furazone or something comes in right?). I really like it. One of my horses had an injury not too long ago, and the vet instructed me to use that stuff (by name) to pack my horses foot. I find that its much more user friendly, at least in terms of clean up. I dont know about you but I'm not a huge fan of walking around with white clay all over me...

I've used the green stuff, too. Reminded me of Dippity-do! Worked well and YES, much easier to clean up than a clay poultice, although I still prefer clay when you really need to draw heat.

Oh good, that makes me feel better. I hate buying things without knowing much about them. I had to pick up something because Matty had a teensy bit of swelling in his RF fetlock... no heat... but very off (They've been in since Thursday, so lord only know how he did it.) I wrapped him with it per directions on the jar... hopefully it worked ok.
