I did start working out at Curves in February. My goal is to lower my cholesterol without medicine, so I'm combining exercise with the healthiest diet I can manage. I'm enjoying this more than I thought I would! For one thing, our local franchise is really well run and everyone there is supportive and friendly and easy-going. Just as I like things. And all these years....people have been telling me that exercise makes you feel better, and I thought that was hogwash. Hmmm..... turns out they had a point! I do feel stronger and a little firmer. Supposedly I've lost a few pounds and inches (you get periodic weigh-ins and measurements), but I don't think that's been significant. My Levis are still snug! So, onward. But I am dragging my feet on lab work to check blood levels. I'm afraid this isn't going to make the difference I need. I'll give it a couple more months and hope for the best. Would love to hear success stories!

Good for you! Think long term...I bet you'll see a difference in your cholesterol as you keep up the routine, as well as many other unexpected benefits over time. I am glad you are enjoying it.
