Ok, so do y'all ever get the craving for breakfast for dinner? I just whipped up some buckwheat pancakes with fresh (frozen) blackberries and sugar free syrup....mmmmmm I had to make these so I wouldn't cave to making buttermilk biscuits which I am SOOO craving right now!

Of course! Last night I made scrambled eggs with red peppers, mushrooms, zucchini and cheese, some fried potatoes, toast and stewed fruit. Ymmmm.

Yum, it's a quick and easy meal around here. Sometimes we even get so extravagant as to throw some sausages on the grill to go along with the pancakes and eggs.

lol! We routinely do a veggie/bacon omelette, or a salt/sweet crêpes dinner...although we've never considered them to be "breakfast". Breakfast here is usually coffee and toast...I wouldn't have that for dinner tho!

Oooooohhhh, Claire, crepes. What's a good dessert filling for crepes that the kids can whip up for a quick after dinner dessert? They love to make dessert wraps with a heated wrap, marshmallows and chocolate chips. I'm thinking they would be into crepes. Any ideas?

Alison, NUTELLA! Yum. My favorite is still just the old fashioned sprinkle of sugar before rolling the crêpe, like the ones you buy from street vendors in France (along with the roasted chestnuts...ahhh, memories!) But for the kids I've used jam, apples cooked in butter, etc. And for adults, try the crêpe Suzette...YUM! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cr%C3%AApe_Suzetteor the crêpe à al normande, with Calvados..check this site www.famousfrenchdesserts.com/crepe-filling-recipes.htmlok, I think we'll eat crêpes tonight! Yum!
