Hi all...
Is anyone here on Weight Watchers?
I've rejoined (as of last Tuesday, the 8th), and am determined to get this last 65 or so pounds off.
Anyone else here on the program?

I love Weight Watchers, as it isn't so much a diet as just a healthy eating plan. I lost about 15 lbs on the Flex plan last summer. I'm pregnant right now, so I'm currently off the plan, but I'll start up again this summer to shed those leftover baby pounds.
Are you going to meetings or just using the online tools? The online program was great. Cheaper than meetings, and really easy to use.
Best of luck! You can do it!

I am. I lost 40# last summer and have kept it off. I'm on flex, and do online only. I'm at 127.5 right now, but would like to be in the lower 120's. I'll get there. I LOVE WW!

I am counting the points, but don't go to the meetings.
I would like to lose 20#. So far, I've lost 5.

ok. I just joined. I need to lose 20 pounds. Any pointers for the online, "flex" program? According to their "calculations" I can only eat 18 points a day...I'm already at 25 today...wouldn't you know that a littel Yoplait Yogurt is a whooping 4 points? I love fresh baguette...am down to snacking on baby carrots (which I love, but ...) Aaaargghhh!

Bara dear, when was the last time you saw me...hmmmm?! I am NOT kidding. I need to shed some pounds! My in-laws are coming next month and my MIL already promised to only make veggie soup and fish dishes. O joy! She also mentioned a diet...scarsdale? that she did years ago...

Yes, Gemic, she told me she did it for 2 weeks in the 70ies to lose a few pounds...it's funny because I've always known her to be rail-thin. I can't imagine her ever needing to go on a diet, lol! I guess the scardale worked in her case because she only did it for 2 weeks.
For those who used the flex plan, do you really stick to your allowed points? I'm having a tough time! I seem to always be 5-8 points above my goal. Good thing there's the Activity swap...lol

Niaru, You really want to try to stick to you daily point allowance, but make sure you are using all of your weekly flex points as well and eating your activity points. Cleaning a few stalls and riding at a trot for 20 minutes will burn off that yogurt. I like to munch, so I got really good at finding low point items. When you go to the grocery store, think high fiber, low carb/fat. Good luck.

Thanks Camille! I certainely burned off a lot of those points today...my instructor killed me in the lesson, Charm was being a fruitloop trying to spook-bolt at everything so we trotted and trotted and TROTTED for 45 straight minutes and then we cantered! Hahah! Both Charm and I were pooped at the end!
I'm actually glad I signed up, there are some GREAT recipes on the WW Message boards!

I started up on the Flex Plan 3 months ago and lost about 12 lbs. Then I took a break from the calculations and started up again. My goal is to lose another 10 lbs.
I HONESTLY do not count every little thing. I think I would go absolutely crazy if I need. I think I'm good enough that I don't exceptionally large allowances like eating a banana split and just counting the bananas.
I think it really depends on your willpower and if you can get away with those little things.
