Look at the calories in a pot pie dinner, that should answer your question lol. They are like 600 calories for a single serving!

And 43GRAMS OF FAT Marie Calender's Chicken Pot Pie's I didn't see that little thing till I had bought a package of 8 at Costco a few years ago. These are the little single serving ones. And I think over 700 calories. How depressing.

And I think over 700 calories. How depressing. It's a sad state of affairs that we can't eat chicken pot pie on a weekly basis. I'm going to try and come up with an alternative recipe. However, it probably won't have a crust, or that lovely gravy. Hmmm, what's the point in no crust and no gravy?

I wonder what a mashed yam topping would taste like on a pot pie? Sort of like shepards pie meets pot pie. Yams are loaded with vitamins.
