I jut finished reading "The Sweet Potato Queen's Guide to Raising Children for Fun and Profit." Absolutely hilarious, I was in tears of laughter a few times. In fact, all of the Sweet Potato Queens books are fantastic.
In the middle of "The River Wife". Intriguing read, about a young woman in the Ozarks in the early 1800s, married to a French trapper.

I'm reading The Book Thief, A Long Way Down (sounds like a downer but its actually quite witty so far) and have My Life as a Traiter in line. Such a long list of TBR but not a lot of time to read.

OK, I haven't read this forum before, so I'm behind the times. But, I'm very excited to see and hear about what everyone else is reading. I'm currently reading "Mountains Beyond Mountains" by Tracy Kidder and just finished the "Bookseller of Kabul."

 Dunno about Heide - but I found it fascinating, not sure 'enjoyed' was the the right word. Y'know, I still have your 'Book Thief' here! Shall I send it, or have you read it, Goalie? I know Filly wanted it after you. I'd completely forgotten about it (sorry) - but only yesterday I was returning by train from a meeting, and my colleague pulled that book from his bag.
