Ann, I would categorize "The Other Boleyn Girl" as fluff. It's a page-turner for sure. I am now reading "The Codex" by Douglas Preston. It is a quick read, something I pulled randomly off the shelf at the library. It reads suspiciously like a screenplay and is in the same vein as Da Vinci Code. Filly - I am reading Outlander too! I just finished the first volume. I picked it up because volume 3 of A Song of Ice and Fire is checked out and I needed something to read until it comes back. So I read volume 1 of Outlander. I returned it yesterday...eagerly hoping to pick up volume 2...which is checked out. A slow reader seems to be one book ahead of me in both series. I was really tempted to pick up the next volume as a preemptive measure. It is brutally cold outside, I am between work projects so have plenty of free time to read by the fire, and am stuck in the middle of 2 series. Sigh.

Nora Roberts and the like are definitely "fluff" or easy reading. I could enjoy them, starting about 2 months after I lost my memory! boy meets girl - fall in love - yay! No problem!
For fun reading of the fantasy sort, I like Piers Anthony - the Xanth series. The stories are fun and I really enjoy the puns!

Oh that is too funny. A couple months ago I picked up Outlander at my local library, having no idea whatsoever about what it was but the synopsis sounded interesting...didn't even know it was the 1st in a series (but imagine my delight when I found that out, LOL!) well, I am now deep into Drums of Autumn, had to special-order it at my library because someone had checked it out and I was in awful withdrawal! So that can be categorized as "fluff", uh? Well I love that kind of fluff!!!
