Ok, I'm about 3/4 through the book. Don't read this book if you are at all depressed as it's a sad story so far.

 I'll make sure to wait for a cold, windy, rainy day to read it.  I thought it would be sad, I don't know why maybe cause the cover gives that feeling.

Wow, what a sad sad story. It's definatley not classical Tolkein and I'm sure he would have changed a lot of it had he been alive. There was none of the usual poetry and the battle scenes, etc tended to be very vague. I did finish it though and was entertained but I still miss classic Tolkein. Thanks Brooks for sending this. I'll get it back to you sometime this week, hopefully.
