I read this book a few years ago and thought I'd post it as a recommendation for our Book Club! Written from the viewpoint of an imaginative 8 year old child in the 1970's. It's hilarious.
Anyone else read it?

I really enjoyed that book! I've loaned it out to others who have not enjoyed it as much but something about it worked for me. Maybe the humor, the widom through the eyes of a child, or the writing. Or even....lol....the title!

Oh, do send it to B, and then B send it to me! Or I suppose I could just pick it up at work. Um...yeah....that's what I'll do. The author has a handful of children's books to her credit, too, if I've got the right names in mind.

I just ordered it from Amazon. They have several used copies for less than $1. I paid one cent, plus shipping!
