No, Lynne, I couldn't. I thought 10th Circle was 'far-fetched'.
Like you, I was more intrigued by the Alaska stuff than anything else. (But then I'm a fan of Due South!) Fascinating culture.
My Sister's Keeper ... I thought the moral dilemma was impossible to solve, especially for Anaconda - err - I mean Andromeda.
But without spoiling it for others - the solution arrived neatly and quite pat, don't you think? (NOT that I saw it coming - I didn't!)

I'm just now starting "The Tenth Circle". hhhmmmm I'm convinced I'll not put it down just yet. From what you all are saying about it has me intrigued.

I finished it. My parting thoughts were that it really disturbed me. Maybe because I was NOT like that when I was 14? Or maybe because I have enough little girls that look up to me at the barn that I'm afraid ARE that way?

Hmm - that's what scared Lynne - and Niaru.

I've tried really being persevering in staying with the "10th Circle", but it is so difficult to stay in focus with the story line. I'm going to put it aside for now.

I read it a few months ago and had mixed feelings. I likes some parts but can't say I loved the book. I liked My Sister's Keeper more, perhaps because of the sibling dynamics.
