Dale Baird...who is the winningest trainer in the country (not buy money but by # of wins) was killed last night in a car crash. He was the big guy here at MNR. Always pleasant to talk to and a pretty much a legend in our area. His vehicle crossed the median and hit another car head on. His girlfriend is in critical care.

He is now in the Trainers Hall of Fame. He never won a derby or a big races, but did win over 9k races! RIP!

kaidensmom: Any stories or experience with a horse with strangles that is SOB? Gelding is currently hospitalized. On Penicillin and wasn't getting better so the vet just started horse on IV doses of DMSO. The abcesses are pharyngeal. Mar 13, 2017 22:41:03 GMT -5
