Thank you! He was a real turd in the gate. Throwing his head and being stupid. Then right as the gate opened he flung his head down near his knees and got left by ten lengths! DH threw his hands up and said, "we're done...."
I figured he'd have to make too much of an effort and would run out of steam. Boy did he prive us wrong! Absolutely a shock to see him win that race!
