anyone heard of this organization? i'm working with an injured exercise rider, and this person will need extensive rehabilitation and services following this injury. any way to access any funding or charitable donation for equipment or vocational training?

Yep, it's insurance through the racetrack. You could try contacting the HBPA office at whatever track the guy rides.....

I know he isn't a Jockey, but maybe you can contact the Jockey's Guild and see if they can donate or refer you do others. Was he injuried on a track or farm?? The facility should pay, unless of course it is a bush track, then they might not pay.

she apparently was injured while exercising a filly that wasn't in her regular string. it's a recognized track, so there should be some support, eh?

Defently!!!! The track should pay 100% of her medical cost and rehab and well as disability money!!!!!
