Did anyone else see the race yesterday where this boy won? It was at Santa Anita.
I really like him.

I saw the race (happy am I to have racing on normal cable channels every week 'til the Derby!). I did not find Cobalt Blue that impressive. Not sure why. Perhaps the lack of a strong field in that race. I really liked Curlin's victory.

Just watched the replay on CalRacing. I was impressed with his victory. The way, when turning for home he pinned his ears and dug in deeper to keep Air Commander at bay?........all racehorse there!

He's a pretty boy, to be sure, but like Lisann, I thought the field a bit weak. I really liked that duel between Street Sense and Any Given Saturday. Those boys got guts, and that's an absolute necessity in the craziness that is the Derby.
