One of the clients at the new barn I'm working at is in a couple of racehorse partnerships. One of her horses, Sagamoon, is running at Aquaduct in NY tomorrow at ~3:45. This is the first time I've ever known anyone (in person) who has a horse running in a race! I'm actually pretty excited, and hope the race goes well for them!

Sagamoon won the Busanda and certainly looks like she's developing into a nice filly. And pretty. Elegant, seal brown. I follow her progress (and that of many others) on the CountryLifeFarm.com web site.
Like someone else who posted on this site, I read CLF owner Josh Pons' book "A Country Life Diary" years ago and have been following the progress of CLF and its inhabitants via their website since. If you like horses at all you should read that book, it's lovely.
