Did you all hear about him and his cancer? Poor boy. I'm glad they will pamper and treat him like a king for his final days.

Awful, just simply awful. What a great racehorse he was. So so sad.

I've been following the story on him. How heartbreaking it is! And knowing he only has a week or so to live has to be just terrible for his connections. I do really like the fact that they decided to bring him home and treat him like a king until that times comes. That says a lot about the people who own and train him.

I Know - I am SO sad for them!!! And I'm glad he got to come home and be pampered and let everyone say goodbye and be with him. So much heartbreak with this 3 year old crop this year.

Very sad! I happened to look at his pedigree and his dam and my sister's mare are both sired by Dr. Carter (who is by Caro). Sis's mare, however, was not fast, thus why we have her.

Yes, I had heard... :cryy: and was heartbroken... but I knew that since he is one of Gary's horses, that he will be well loved and looked after until he goes to greener pastures.... Below are a couple pictures from happier days when I met him at the Breeder's Cup-- he sure was full of himself that weekend, but he's such a sweetie... I hurt for his "family" that is loosing him...

My mom is sooo upset. She's not much of a horse person, but fell in love with him when she saw him. He's the only horse that she's ever asked me to give her updates on. I told her about the cancer yesterday and she got very upset. :cryy: Poor boy. . .
