How is it that one video, that I've seen so many times, can make me cry and laugh out loud every time?! I could watch that every day! Thank you Megarock! I think I'll go watch it again...

He was absolutely amazing. My hubby ordered me a framed copy of his time magazine cover a while back. I love it. Now if I can just get him to order a print of the Belmont win where the jock is looking back............hmmmm b-day is coming up!

I was into watching every race Secretariat ran. He was the most awesome horse of all time on the race track!! How so unfortunate he couldn't pass his speed to his offspring. He was truly 'one of a kind'.

Watching that famous moment always makes my teary-eyed. How quicklyy 33 years passes. seems like just yesterday. I see him in my filly Summer, his grandaughter ..
No, he never recreated himself. That wo9uld have been impossble. But he certainly had an enormous impact on the breed. Even on the Appy breed. No apologies are needed.
I have a picture of Summer when she was about two weeks old signed by Mrs Chenery, Ron Turcotte, Mr Nash, I am so fortunate to have met Secretariat in real life many times. I'll have to see how many OLD pics I can dig out of us when we were younger. He was simply the best. And he knew it.

That has got to be one of the best videos I have seen of that race. Makes me cry everytime. I still can't believe that he is Boy's grandfather.
