My boss has a horse in Thursday at Belmont in the 8th race, a stakes. Her name is Dance Away Capote. She hasn't raced since last year because of an injury.

Fingers crossed and jingles on the way for Dance Away. I hope she has a safe and victorious trip. I'll put her in my VS.

More fingers crossed--saw her race in the Breeders Cup in 2004. Hubby and I were VIP hosts at Lone Star Park and her owner was one of our owners we escorted to paddock, etc. Neat lady, can't remember her name, an actress--does she still own Dance Away Capote.

Yes, she still owns her. Her name is Lyn Merritt. She's a great person to work for.

Yes, she was a delight. Our other owners were from California, not very friendly, reminded me of Mafia type people. Lyn gave us a couple tickets to the after Derby party which was awesome and we were starved. We got a turkey sandwich, chips and an apple before we started which didn't last long but weren't supposed to go through the buffet lines. Everything was all catered and no running to the first floor and buying food. Was about ready to eat our special purple host vests Julie
