Jen: You guys are GOOD!! Just read the report on Boy Miranda's race. What does "won under wraps" mean? It sounds as though he was just coastin' ;D

haha....that's basically what it means.
He set really sloooooow fractions and noone really pressed him. The #10 horse was close behind until we got to the top of the stretch. But DeShawn tapped him once for a "pay attention" type of reminder and he actually drew off from the field. Under wraps is kind of like saying he never asked the horse to go. He just held him at the same pace and that was that.
I was soooooo nervous for this race. I've been the rider for this horse and was hoping I had him fit enough. Guess I got my answer eh? He's a good boy though. A little hot but I think he's fun.
