Sunshine Classic-Santa Anita Park

I spent the day (yesterday) at Santa Anita Park Watching the Sunshine Classic.

Michelle: I got to see Buzzards Bay up close before he raced. What a handsome boy!!! Very well behaved for his handlers, too. I wish I would have brought my camera!!
He didn't seem to thrilled with his job though. He ended up coming in 4th.

How cool Ali! I heard some stuff about BB and didn't think he was going to run this early or at all this year, but I heard that 4th hand knowledge! I would love to go meet him when I'm in California this March/April. I want to see if he's as big and handsome as his daddy

Ah, sounds like you had a great time. BB is one that I have wanted to see. He was my derby pick last year.
