Well we had a great night tonight! Moose won the first race tonight breaking her maiden...finally!

I'm so proud of her. We kept waiting for the rest of the horses tocatch her down the stretch but she never looked back once she got to the lead! It's pretty typical of her to prick her ears and slow down...."Oh shoot....where is everyone...?" So we were really supprised to see her step up and win tonight!

Kerri won also!! Woohoo! She's such a good girl. She always tries her little heart out.

Tonight was such fun because we've never won two races in a night. It's been like out little curse....if we have more than one horse in...and the first one wins, the second one never does. Or the other way around. I'm hoping we continue with such good luck on monday when we run Zack and Doc!

Also, we have a new entry for everyones' virtual stable. We claimed a new guy tonight. His name is "Frazee's Folly." He's is Beaugar's brother and also Boy Genius' brother...all by the same stallion. He's absolutely a drop dead gorgeous dark dappled grey. I drool just looking at him. He knows he's good looking too! You can see it in his eye. I might have a hard time working in the barn now because I can't keep my eyes off him! :boomboom:

He's such a cool guy. Class all the way! He's about 15.1 and tiny, but he's got so much heart!

I used to love rubbing the little racehorses. They were always full of themselves, like they had to prove something because they were small. The small ones always seem to hold up better than the bigger ones too. Less body to lug around.

But this is why I find it so hard to watch your claiming races. Hope the take good care of her too. Of course I worry the most when you run Toby.
