Seems they will never get the track right for winter racing around here. We were supposed to run Computer Gate and Ze Fact last night. Computer Gate was out on the track for the first race and the jockeys decided the track was not safe to run on. Tonight we have Tipping in the 9th race. They are having a meeting right now at the track to decide if they will run or not tonight.

Well darn. Is the weather bad over there? It is actually quite a warmish night here in the 30's and clear. I have $10 on Tipping to win and was hoping to stay up and watch the race.

They cancelled tonight too...... The weather is not bad....but the track froze over christmas when they all tok off.....so it was frozen underneath and then the top thawed. The base was too inconsistant with patches of slick, hard spots and then it would be sloppy and deep. When we were there last night it looks like they were walking through wet cement. Just too dangerous to risk hurting horses and riders.
