Oh, I have got to watch this race. I just got my stable mail notice, Jen, what time do you think it will go off? How do I watch it on the web again?

Oops! I missed your post, sorry! Hassle is in the 2nd race. I think it goes off at 2:25pm. I'll double check real quick though. To watch it go to www.mtrgaming.comClick on "Racing" and then in the drop down menu, "Live Racing" Then it will have a place to click "live audio/video" Then you select dial up or broadband. I hope lots of people watch and cheer Hassle on. This is one BIG race! It's a stakes race with a purse of 85k. I can't believe we are running against some of these horses. My BF is terrified!

He was third!! And he was 20/1 so what a great effort. You must be very proud Jen. I missed the darn race - I got back from Costco and turned on the TV at 2:30 and it was too late.

Hassle was a superstar! He broke 2 lengths in front of the rest of the field. Then led all the way around the turn as he was drawing off from them! The four horse hooked him coming down the lane and Hassle fought back with him. But then the four took over as Hassle got a little tired. The 10 horse snuck up the outside and beat us out for 2nd by a length! It was so exciting and we couldn't be more proud of him! DeShawn said, "Wow he's fast!" He's such a good boy, I just love that horse.

whooo hooo! great job, give him a big kiss from me! ya know, it's funny, the same year he sold we had a Seeking the Gold-Sheila's Revenge colt that sold for like 2.some million dollars and that horse isn't doin crap! In fact all the big sellers aren't really doing anything, and the ones the owner didn't really think would do well are out making the money!

Awww....do you remember how much Hassle sold for? I can look it up if not.... Did you know his sire was just pensioned? My BF said they were taking after the race on HRTV and they said something about Mountaineer being the only place where you could run a 25k claimed in a 85k stakes race. He was bad mouthing us. I think he forgot to mention how quickly Hassle broke from the gate and leg all the way around the turn.....and still held thrid. Geesh....some people just aren't very nice to the "little guy" are they? On another note I got to see some pretty popular jockeys up close. That was pretty cool. Hubba hubba is Gary a cutie!

No, I didn't know that! I just looked up Boundary and Hassle is listed as one of his top runners of 2005. I don't remember what he sold for, let me know when you find out please!
