Okay everyone who can get TVG you need to watch Races 7 and 8 at Mountaineer. The very handsome Root Beer Float (I just love that name) is running in Race 7 and Tipping is in Race 8. Hope you don't mind Jen if I put Root Beer's picture in here. I like to bring up the photos you posted just before one of them races because you can't really get a good look at them during the race and I like to know exactly who I'm cheering for I don't have one for Tipping but she won last time so we need to see a win pic - hint, hint! Such a handsome boy:

I don't mind Julia. Thanks for being such an awesome fan!
We had two very tough races last night. Although it rained like mad, the track was hard and very fast. Tipping just plain got outrun. Those horses were just too fast for her. She did try, so we really can't fault her.
It was Rootbeer's first race back since we gave him a winter rest. He normally runs a mile or longer. But we didn't want to run him that long for his first race back. So we sprinted him and again, the pace was way too quick for him. I actually thought he fell asleep in the gate! He did make an awesome move from last to 5th. He just ran out of room. I'm sure he'll be happier to get back to the longer distance races.
We have Assumed Risk running tonight in the 8th race. Good Day is entered for tuesday.
