From the TB Times:
Gelding who played Seabiscuit euthanized at Kentucky Horse Park I Two Step Too, one of the Thoroughbreds who played Seabiscuit in the movie of the same name, was euthanized on Monday at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington after battling a rare tumor in his nasal cavity. With his ability to provide quick bursts of speed, the 12-year-old Spook Dance gelding was used in scenes for the movie that portrayed Seabiscuit driving to the lead.
I Two Step Too was auctioned as part of a charity fund-raiser at the Louisville premiere of the Seabiscuit movie in July 2003, with proceeds benefiting the Race for Education. Since then, I Two Step Too had been featured in the daily Parade of Breeds presentation in the Kentucky Horse Park’s Breeds Barn.
"This is a sad day for all of us at the park," said John Nicholson, executive director of the Kentucky Horse Park. "This horse was not only very popular with our visitors, but was greatly loved by everyone who worked with him. I Two Step Too was a kind, gentle animal who gladly received thousands of visitors and never lost his patience."
I Two Step Too won seven of 53 career starts and earned $24,538.
