Wasn't he great! They said he got tired at the end but he was so far out in front that he still won easily. It was thrilling to see him put on that burst of speed in the middle of the race and just pull away from everyone. And, I bet him to win so that is good too

Thanks Julia and GM!! Sure was worth the wait in that awful weather! Our jockey never made it to the track! He was coming from Thistledown and the roads were really bad so he grabbed a hotel room and never made it! So we had to pick another jockey....who said no because he already had a full card, then asked another and he said no....just because...so the guy we used, we'd never ridden before! I wanted to go :nanana: to the two who told us "no thanks."
Julia, he paid pretty well too! Hopefully you put something good on him to win!
I wondered if anyone was still watching our races or not. ;D So I guess you didn't want to mention our last place with Kerricat the night before! They were just too fast for her and we ran her back too quickly. She tried but was slippin and slidin on that wet track.
