Dr. Glen Brown reports that his world champion pacing mare Fan Hanover has moved to a new home at Christina Anderson’s farm in Hillsburgh, Ontario where she will live out the remainder of her life. The 26 year-old daughter of Albatross, the only filly to ever win the Little Brown Jug, was retired from breeding in 2000. Fan had been a longtime resident at Armstrong Brothers.
“I’m quite happy with where she’s gone,” said Brown. “Both Fan and her daughter (Fans Bikini by Jennas Beach Boy) have a nice home there and Christina Anderson’s isn’t far from where she was, so I can stop by and see them.” (Courtesy WEG)
EGADS, I remember her winning the Jug.....doesn't FEEL like 23 years ago!!!!

It sounds like a great retirement home for both of them.
