Jenarby: Can you check on him for me. I just read the report of his race tonight and it said he stopped running at the 1/4 pole! Is he okay? I know he is older and I hope he hasn't hurt himself. I think he has more than earned a great home when he retires from racing.

Just got a virtual stable note that Boy is racing on the 18th so I guess he is okay. I'll definitely try and watch his race.

Scooter said he's back to his old self again. Naughty and silly. Wanting to run people over and drag them. He was always sweet and silly. But if you took him anywhere you HAD to have a chain onhis nose. He would turn around and just walk away. You'd be drug wherever he wanted to go. Not a mean horse though. Silly boy. I hope he does well. Someday they will realize he's paid his dues and needs a proper retirement.

Seems it was not an impressive race for him. The second place finisher is a horse that I've had my eye on for quite some time. Chestnut with a blaze ans two high socks, flaxen mane and tail. I was hoping Boy would clobber him. That horse had been doing poorly and I was hopeful he'd be for sale soon.... Sounds like Boy just got tired.

Well, he wasn't pulled up. My guess is that he just ran out of steam.
