I know that he was claimed and doesn't belong to Jenarby anymore but I think he is a grand old gentleman and I was happy to see that he won again. I didn't see the race but it sounds like he was in command the whole way. I wish that Jen could claim him back and then let me buy him to be my husband horse. He is a very handsome boy and still going strong at 10 years old.

Yes, congrats to the connections of Boy Genius. Husband horses can be hard to find.

Isn't that something? I think that horse has had close to 100 starts in his lifetime. He's such a total goofball too. I finally takled to the current trainer abuot him last week. I wanted to make sure that Boy gets a proper retirement when he's ready. He said he already had the TRF out to his farm and talked with them abuot several of his horses. I told him that he better not let that horse go to a bad home or end up on that aweful wagon toa horrible fate. He said no way.....he'd send him to his ranch in arkansas before that ever happened. So that was a good thing. I was worred after his last race how he came in so sore. The trainer did the right thing and gave him lots of time to heal afterwards.
