Beagar ran a good third. Thinkin' we didn't give him enough time inbetween (only 3 weeks). He tried hard though. The winner is that stud that is a five year old son of Mr. Prospector. What a gorgeous animal! Beaugie was a butthhead for his bath and cutting off his wraps! He bit me, walked all over me like I wasn't even there, was kicking something terrible too. He rammed his head into my BF in the stall and jammed his two fingers. Ugh....It was a good night though, we were pleased, that was a tough race!

Congrats on the third! He must have been upset about not winning - maybe that's why he was such a :moon:

I missed the race but got my result notification this morning. I was a bit worried that DeShawn wasn't riding him and as it turned out he was on the horse that won. Sounds like he ran a very good race. Sorry he was a pain afterwards. I did put a bet on him, but placed it to show, so I should have won something

Thanks guys. He did come up a little sore today....so that *could* explain why he didn't "kick" down the stretch. Who knows. He tried, and he came home safe, so that's really all that we can ask for!
