My vet has a huge wooden roundpen with like 12 foot walls. You have to go up to the "observation deck" to see in it. Maybe he could watch her for awhile..lol. ;D

Chris! You can't end the story there! What happened to her??? I put Crazy in a stall for tonight...at least I know she won't be out running free in the dark?
Working on fencing alternative plan. Guess I'm gonna have to build her a "special" paddock/pasture instead of refencing the entire farm....

Well, Fresca used to go on wild romps.. we lived about a mile from town.. she would head up there and run about on the high school football field, or she and her son, would go to the feed mill and help themselves! Sometimes they'd take the goats and cow with them! I would watch her lean against a new barbed wire fence until it snapped! But she was the best darned trail horse... and great broodmare! She is long gone now, this was years and years ago... My Ay-Rabs are pretty good about staying in their fences, but tonight, our ponee pushed open the gate and escaped to the back yard while I was feeding the youngsters... We had quite a game of catch the ponee! chris
