:curse: :curse: :curse: :curse: Queensbury Downs is no longer going to hold races, apparently for :curse: ever!!!!! This has gone too far now, and I am going to have to write something rather vitriolic on my web page about the collective parentage and state of marital status of the :curse: :curse: powers that be in that place. They do NOT realise that they are putting people out of work. We have a short meet waaaaay up north, 6 HOURS drive away.......... :bang: :bang: :bang: I have horses standing here that should be racing!!!!!!!!

Ya know, I don't know how many times we heard that with Arlington Park, and lo and behold, they have races again.
Hope it's just a political bargaining BS by the owners of the track. What a pain and good luck.

the track here, monticello, says the same thing all the time. Its in the papers and then nothing ever happens, been going on for years. I hope its the same at ur track and its just rumers or something....

no posturing now, it is toast. REA says it is a losing proposition, so we are screwed. I haven't talked to anyone yet, but will do so over the weekend. I don't imagine anyone else is any happier than I am over this mess.  |
