Hey Lily was born on my birthday! SO in USA the horses are 1 year old on Jan 1st..... and your seasons are opposite of here. Do you have the same rule in NZ for race horses? Just curious.

i am not sure about the birthdays. I had to do a search on her birthday cos everyone at my shop that I told about her wanted to know about her breeding. So I went a searching, actually I phoned the trainer.. ;D
I have a new lady starting in my shop and guess what?? her hubby was a trainer up in Auckland. Unfortunatly he has died but she is a wealth of info. Gonna be handy!!

NZ and Australia National Horsie Birthday used to be August 1.
