Yes, folks, she really is cute. Better than any of the pictures. Ask Claire about the little "bucky-thing" she did across the round pen. This is going to be FUN. She is SO SWEET. But she is every bit OTTB!

Niaru~She is gorgeous!! I'm dying to get on Porter, and now that's been delayed another 6 months!! I don't know how you can wait either!! I hope her retraining goes smooth and well.
BTW when Porter bucks in turn out, he grunts. Does she? I was wondering if it was a tb trait, my Nate doesn't do it!!

Michelle, I've only seen her 'kinda buck' twice, the first time when I was hand walking her, she jigged, squealed and bounced (and left a bruise on my thigh!!). In the round pen, I don't think she made a sound. As she was trotting she sunk in the snow a little and started kicking/bucking as if in protest Today we hung in the roundpen, me feeding her carrots (hey, she LIKES carrots!! Yay!) and scratching her, and her following me around and shaking her head at Stella (the dog) who was outside and NOT happy about the situation. I'd like to get Charm used to Stella (and vice versa) but Stella thinks she is safe when she 'follows closely' on the horse's heels....Yikes...Rita didn't mind too much, but Charm was raising her hind foot and pinning her ears....good thing Stella knows the 'go away' command!!!
