Well, today is the last day of quarantine for my girl! I can't WAIT to go see her tomorrow night. I wish I didn't have to work, I'd spend all day out there!
So she will hopefully be moved to her new banr wednesday. Where she'll have tons of turn out and not be stuck inside anymore. Many trails to ride on as well. In april she'll go to my friend's barn and meet her new boyfriend. I hope she likes him! Just thought I'd share my excitement. No other horses at the barn ever got sick! Yippee!

Glad to hear it. ;D I'll bet you're happy, I don't know if I could handle not seeing my boys that long like that. If I was somewhere, like say England, good road trip of any sort, well, maybe.  |

So I went to the barn tonight!
Addie actually seemed happy to see me. I bought two bags of her favorite starlight mints. She was so funny begging for them. I turned her out in the indoor and she bucked and squeeled like a pig. I've not laughed so hard in a while. I had almost forgotten how pretty she is. Since it's been almost a month since I've seen her, she has aweful thrush in her feet. Poor girl. Had to break out that icky coppertox. She had also banged her forehead in the stall and has a brush burn type of booboo down her face. It's probably about 8 inches long. Not deep enugh to scar, thank goodness. Man did I miss her. I have the day off tomorrow and will go for a ride if the weather isn't too cold. Just wanted to update everyone!

So glad everything turned out okay. What a great feeling to go back and see your girl after such a long break! I know if I'm on vacation and don't see Tango or my dog for a week or two I always think how cute they are when I do see them again.
I'm sure her minor things will clear up quickly! (By the way, I've found that ThrushBuster works after just a dose or two.)
