Hi, Moo! We made it yesterday morning, door-to-door, in 5 hours. Mary forgot her license so it was a big hassle getting her into the building and Carolyn's roomie was a wreck (yuck!) so we didn't want to stay in the dorm long. Had lunch, cruised the museum, went to Millers, called your voice mail, ate tons of food and returned home. Tucked in with my own pillow and blankie by 1:00 am. All delightful, but we missed seeing you. Boo hoo, Moo!
Most memorable art of the day: Kandinsky!!!! Takes my breath away. And a little pastel self portrait by Joseph Wright of Derby--over with the European masters. Just charming.
Some day I am coming downtown and I will not be racing everywhere! I will demand to see your art. We'll have Carolyn take our photo for the ER board!

Oh, Art Girl! I need help. Gotta find a clear photo or drawing of a horse moving in sort of a haunches in frame. Should be looking head-on, but want to see some angle--not just head and shoulders. Got any ideas? This is to help an artist who's designing a memorial plaque that will have centered text, a dancer on the right and a horse on the left. A horse in this frame would echo the position of the dancer. It all makes sense in my head!!!!

That's the idea. And I should have thought of that web site which I actually have bookmarked in my favorites already....duh! I'd like to see a little more haunches, and I think there's another shot down the screen that is sort of like that, too. Good research, kiddo! Tell your professor you get community service credit for this! You're helping a nonprofit organization (No...I don't mean ME personally! LOL! Though I did put the "non" in "Nonprofit.")
Byt the way, sorry I missed Mr Moo!

Carles DK....another good idea! I have a book here, too, but the photos are almost always straight on--good for studying the moves, but I'm hoping for more angle.
Extra credit!
