WOW - when did we get the snazzy new BB? Way Cool! ANyway, on to my update:

Tyler is getting SO big! He is still of course the love of my life, and keeps us aughing all day long. I cant believe he is 10 months old!! Where did the time go?? Geez, Christi, Nathan must be DRIVING by now!
Oh, I almost forgot I gotta make this horse related.....
I finally got Vow back from the trainers, since he obveously wasn't goiung to get sold up there. He came back kinda skinny, but is sooo QUIET now - I mean HUNTER quiet! He is now at my parents house, and I ride him every few weeks, when I come down. It works out great becuase I ride him with my best friend who's parents live next door to mine. I talked it over with my parents, and though he IS still for sale - I'd take 10k OBO - I'm not going to go crazy over it. Yes, I owe my parents about $5,000 and it would be nice to be able to pay them back, but I just LOVE that horse. No, he's no A circuit horse, but when I sit on him, we just click, I don't know if he knows that we saved his life or what, but he is my equine soul mate.....ok, I'll stp before I get to cheesy. What made my parents decide to let me keep him at their house though - where they have to feed him, and pay for all expences - is because my best friend's husband died on Dec. 22. It was soo heartbreaking, it is still beyond words for me. They had just had a son born on Halloween, who will never know his father. - if you want to know more click here ----> www.eastpointpolice.org/Fallen%20Officer%20Christopher%20Betts.htm He was a police officer who died on duty, so it was all over the Ga news and papers. Anyway, back to the point - my friend and I have been riding and showing together for over 10 years, but haven't done much since our sons were born, so we have just started really riding again :-) It feels great to finally be able to zip my chaps up! I sure hope everyone is doing ok. Thanks for putting up with my long post.

;D I am glad your parents could keep your horse for you.. My parent's did the same for me when I was in college and couldn't afford a place for my boy... I owe my parents tons of paybacks and most of the time it was never money. I had great parents. They were always there for me and my horses.

sounds like Vow did good at the trainers. So why cant you just keep him, sounds like you to get along so good and you love him...Isnt this new board cool ...I love all the extras.

My parents keep my horses too. My Mom just happens to love horses, but she's not getting any younger and I know she would like more help and/or money. I do what I can, but am afraid that going back to work full time will mean enough money, but no time for the horse. That's the position I was in before the baby. Plus right now I can go to my Mom's in the afternoons to play horse which I can't do if I go back to work. Right now all I get to do anyway is clean stalls and groom, but it's better than watching soap operas! OK, Animal Planet. I don't know what my Mom was thinking when we got Raven. She has completely defected and now does team-penning (chasing cows), so she says, "What do I need all of these big, Thoroughbred types for anyway? They can't pen cattle!" She knows, though, that if she keeps them my sister and I will still come around so she has somebody to talk horse with, I guess. Still, the math is going to get interesting in the spring when the wall will come down to make the foaling stall. Then we'll be one stall short. Hmmm...
