Pretty hard to find anything wrong with this board aside from one little thing. It's slightly harder to do the "hit and run" posting that I do - where I look to see who's been here and who's answered anything I wrote lately. I saw the "last 10 posts" thing, and that is handy, cause you can scan quickly to see if anyone's been on and said anything. So THEN...when you hit "reply" to one of THOSE...it says it hasn't quite enabled that feature yet. So there goes my hit and run post. Am I spastic, or is it not possible to "reply" to someone other than the person who posted the original post, right? Your reply just gets posted in the long line of posts on the original topic, right? the "stream of consciousness" posting is not possible. Or am I spastic. Or both? I DO like this thingy!

Have you also noted that over half of the threads on the Horse related section keep disappearing? It will something like 19 topics, but only 7 or so show up.

On all these boards (proboard) you can only reply to the thread in general; I know, I am on several boards, under various names, and of disparate topics, and I have yet to see one configured where you can reply to a specific poster rather than the thread. Just make sure that when you reply to a specific post in a thread, you put the poster's name in the subject line.
Just wait until ya figure out the [glow=FF00FF,2,300]NEAT STUFF[/glow]!!!!!!!!!!! ;D

CC- that's exactly why it took me 2 days before I said anything....lmao. I kept thinking surely if this is happening to someone else, they would have said something by now. SMAY- you can also mark the box that says "check this if you wish to be notified of replies to this topic" for anything that interests you.

and maybe it is just because my computer is archaic and my phone company only guarantees 9000 bps (no, thats not a typo). There's no quick way to use this board. Also, I miss the posting off posts that became threads within threads. Its to hard to follow this way.
Hmmmm....maybe that's what they were trying to avoid ?

That's a good one. I see all 21 posts on the HR board....you say it only shows you 7? Jeepers, well I guess I don't know. Yah, I have to click on that "notify me" thing about certain subjects. only my problem is that I want to read ALL OF THEM...just see what new ones have popped up and then reply to THOSE people. Kinda tricky. Wonder how we'll do the Friday Fun Five?

Smay, the colors need to be fixed, but above is a quote of your post that I'm addressing. Shortfat - 9000bps??? Do you know how to disable images on your browser - you need to learn that, it's way too slow for you to be trying to load all these images. I surfed image free for about two years and just loaded images when it seemed like it was something I probably wanted to view. We also need to help people scale down the file size on some of their personal photos- will get to addressing that if we stay here instead of using the other board. Friday Fun Five should be super easy - everyone will just reply and you'll read it all down the line.

Christi, What size should the pictures be? Mine seem really slow loading here, maybe they're too big?
