I couldnt get the darn thing wet which i did and it got all yucky, I wasnt able to groom very well at all since I couldnt hardly get my hand around a brush or pick her feet and it was just so darn irritating. I called the Dr this morning and told him if he didnt cut it off and give me backl the soft velcro cast thingy I would use a hack saw and do it myself so he sais ok as long as we do another xray first to check. It didnt get worse and is healing so he let me have the soft velcro thingy back. First thing I did when I got home was take it off and take a hot shower, I was a good girl thou and I put it right back on LOL. He said it should be healed enough in 3 weeks to take it off as long as I am careful and dont lift with it a couple more weeks hooooray...I want this thing off. At least now I an use my fingers a lil more, the plaster cast was so far down my hand it was really hard and hurt to use my fungers at all. I am going to watch it and be careful thou so I can get this thing healed up and back to normal, its such a pain in the rear end...

That must have been the best shower ever! Just you be careful and let it heal! The plaster cast was cumbersome for a reason. Christi
