Hi all, this summer I re-homed a 12 hand 13 year old Hinny (daddy was a horse and momma was a donkey) the opposite of a mule - and it sounds like he won't be staying. He will not stay in a stall so a run in situation is perfect for him. He is a fabulous companion for their tb, but they have decided to build a stall for their horse for the winter and don't want to leave Sam out by himself. I had told them if they ever couldn't keep him to let me know as I will take him back. I got him from someone who wanted a good home for him and promised he would be taken care of. I love this guy but I keep my horses in stalls also. Last winter when I did have to bring them in he was loose in the barn which he was fine for. He even poops in one spot. He is the cutest guy you ever saw- supposedly he rides and drives. I have been on him but never drove him. He is personality plus, an easy easy keeper and all the horses seem to like him. He does need good fencing though. I have two strand electric tape and he did fine with it. He will always have a home with me if need be, but he really likes activity and attention and sometimes I think he doesn't get enough here. We are in the fingerlakes region of NY - Ithaca.
