They had a blast didn't they! I bet they were huffing and puffing after showing off like that!

They look great in those photos. I bet, unlike the rest of us, they actually enjoyed the snow!!

Great pics! Send that snow you don't want our way. Utah is drying up.

Fabulous snow pics. I went to my barn today and it's already turning to mud. Yuk. Fortunately it was still cold when they went out, so when they did their turn out rolls, like ya know they do, they didn't get that muddy. Somehow, I don't think I'll be as lucky next time.

They all look like they were having a grand old time! Looking quite smart 'n snug in their purty blankies! Doesn't it just make you hold your breath, though, when they go tearing around like that and then head towards the fence! I always have these awful thoughts of mine slipping and crashing through, crippling themselves for life!! (just a tad bit paranoid?)

If they have blankets on and they roll around in the deep snow fifty times....their blankets get a nice "washing". And if they don't have blankets on, their COATS get a snow polish! So Shiny! And I ALSO think that running around in deep, icy cold snow tightens up their legs. No proof, but I loff when they come in with ice cold, tight, frozen legs... I figure I'll take that over hot, lumpy, stocked up legs any day!

Great pics!!
My geldings just stood in one place and ate hay LOL! But they had actually been out a couple times per day loose so they could walk around. The girls, however, did a nice job of flattening their field down...actually it was Six who did all the bucking and lungeing and Laura and Maggie were just trying to stay out of her way.
I have 3 exposures left on my camera to take and than I can get the roll developed so you all can see the "snow mountains" ;D
