URGENT PLSE HELP!

Oh my. Got an email. PLease help place this Saddlebred gelding!

He is not good under saddle, but he drives well. If he
doesn't find a home soon, he's going for meat. They want $350 for him.

I'm trying to get more information. Will post soon. I assume he's here in Wisconsin.

Don't let him go to the killers!! Here's more info:

He's a 4 year old gelding, chestnut with a blaze, cute. No real vices, but he's naughty. Under saddle he moves into leg pressure, and bucks if he's asked to move forward. I haven't seen him drive, but he's supposedly very good at it. Trots like a mad man. He can trot as fast as Iph canters, and looks good doing it! He has Saddlebred papers and was inspected and approved
with either AWS or AWR, they couldn't remember who. Owner's mother toyed with the idea of keeping him a stallion and promoting ASBs as the "other" warmblood. They gelded him and tried to turn him into a hunter.
Now they just want him out of the barn.

Arrrggg! I'll find out the best contact info! Okay, call this guy. He owns the barn the horse is boarded at.

This is a quick last ditch effort to find homes for four ASB's that are headed to a community sale 3/1/04. The owner has made no effort to sell them privately but they are nice usable horses that either have reg. papers or could have. If anyone would be interested I'm sure the price would be extremely low as they will bring very little through the sale and most likely go to kill. They are located in IA.

I cannot beleive the owner is doing this..
I wish horse owners would stop being so irresponsible!!!
I am not speaking at every horse owner but there are some out there that need thier heads examined!!

CRH and I have talked with the owner of these horses, and they won't be going to the sale.
The stallion will now be calling me "mom", but we still need homes for the filly (actually a 3 year old mare), and the geldings.

I want to emphasize that these are healthy horses that have been well cared for. The young mare has excellent bloodlines. The owner simply must part with them quickly. While it was an emergency, this is NOT a neglect case.

These horses have an extremely reasonable price to good homes only.
