Quest For Approval- 15.3 hands (may be 16, haven't seen him to stick him yet) gelding. He's located at Penn National, trainer says he just needs some time to come down from racing. He is one of those hardy boys that has raced till now, so he knows what his job as a race horse. Will be the type that needs a job. He's decided he doesn't want to race any more and doesn't try at all. He needs to move now, they needed his stall in the yesterday sort of way. Do not have pictures. If you're near Penn, please call to go see him. They're asking $800 OBO.
From personal experience the older ones are generally a little tougher to retrain, but you know they've got the hardiness to stay sound through all those years, and they are more workmanlike and tend to be smarter about things. I just sold an 11 y/o gelding recently and have heard nothing but great things about him since. (See success stories on my website). Please call if you are serious about looking at this horse. Thanks! 617-817-7936

I know.. I'm going to try to get them tomorrow, but its hard when they tell me about the horse, tell me it needs to be gone NOW (they called me today to see if I had gotten any interest- I'm thinking, well I guess I better post without pics then, even though I know everyone will ask for pics), and I live an hour and a half from the track, so with classes it is difficult to get there just to take some pictures. I had been planning to go down tommorrow, so I'll try to get the pics. And hope they dont yell at me for not having him sold already.

They should take the pics for you. They should know that a pic can really move a horse. Just say someone asked for a picture! :hahahay:

We're talking about technologically impaired race trainers here. Half of them don't know how to use a computer. Asking for a digital picture is wayyy too much.
